Name : Arthur Weasley

House: Gryffindor

Distinguishing Features: Thinning red hair, horn-rimmed glasses, tall and slim. He is particularly noticeable in the proximity of Muggles, as he gets quite excited by their inventions and can't resist commenting and inquiring about them.

Heritage: Pureblood

Family: A wife (Molly) and seven children--six boys and a girl, the youngest. One of his sons. Mr. Weasley is also a distant cousin to the late Sirius Black and is possibly related to the Malfoys and the Lestranges through him.

First Mention: He is referred to as Ron's dad in the sixth chapter of Sorcerer's Stone/Philosopher's Stone, and begins appearing personally in Chamber of Secrets, chapter three.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name: Molly Weasley

House: Gryffindor.

Distinguishing Features: Plump and homely, Molly can usually be found fussing around her children or running her home.

Heritage: Pureblood.

Family: Married to Arthur Weasley, who calls her "Mollywobbles" when nobody else is listening, and mother of the seven Weasley siblings. Her brothers Fabian and Gideon Prewett were murdered by Death Eaters in the 1970s.

First Mention: Chapter Six of Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name : Bill Weasley

House: Gryffindor

Special Abilities: Bill was a curse-breaker for Gringotts bank until he put in for a transfer early in the summer of 1995, and he is undoubtedly quite talented as such. While at Hogwarts, Bill was a prefect who went on to become Head Boy, proving that he has long been a talented wizard.

Distinguishing Characteristics: Bill is tall and lanky with the usual shock of Weasley red hair, which he wears long in a pony-tail. He has an earring shaped like a fang, and unlike the majority of his family, he is - and there is no other word for it - cool.

Heritage: Pureblood

Family: Eldest of the seven Weasley siblings, he is two years older than Charlie, who is next in line.

First Mention: Philosopher's Stone/Sorcerer's Stone, chapter six

First Appearance: Goblet of Fire, chapter five

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name : Charlie Weasley

House: Gryffindor
Distinguishing Characteristics: Charlie looks every inch the outdoor type: he has a broad, good-natured, weather-beaten face, and so many freckles that it looks almost like he has a tan. He's shorter and stockier than most of his brothers, and has, of course, the usual Weasley red hair.

Heritage: Pureblood

Family: Second-oldest of the seven Weasley siblings, he is two years younger than Bill and three years older than Percy.

First Mention: Chapter six of Sorcerer's Stone/Philosopher's Stone

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name Fred and George Weasley

House: Gryffindor

Distinguishing Characteristics: Fred and George are identical twins who look so similar even their mother finds it hard to tell them apart. They spend virtually the whole time together and it is very unusual to see one without the other. They are shorter and stockier than their gangly brother Ron, and of course have the usual Weasley red hair.

Heritage: Pureblood

Family: Two of the seven Weasley siblings, they are two years younger than Percy and two years older than Ron.

First Mention: Chapter six of Sorcerer's Stone/Philosopher's Stone

General: Fred and George are the main trouble-makers of the Weasley family, causing their mother more headaches than the rest of her children put together. They are also very close, spending most of their waking time together--this friendship seems to arise from shared interests rather than a deep sharing of intimate secrets and hidden depths, however. It seems unlikely that Fred and George have any hidden depths.
