Dedalus Diggle

Dedalus first met Harry in the Leaky Cauldron in 1991 when Harry was visiting Diagon Alley with Hagrid (though he had once bowed to him on the street while Harry was still unaware of his wizard background). He also formed part of the Advance Guard that took Harry from the Dursleys' house to the Order's headquarters. He wears a violet top hat, and in the opinion of Minerva McGonagall has no sense at all.

Elphias Doge

Doge was a member of the original Order in the 1970s, and appeared in Moody's photograph. He is described as having a wheezy voice and silver hair. He formed part of the Advance Guard that rescued Harry from the Dursleys' house.

Aberforth Dumbledore

A strange man, once prosecuted for practicing inappropriate charms on a goat. He is now a barman at the Hog's Head in Hogsmeade.

Arabella Figg

As far as Harry knew for many years, Mrs Figg was just a mad old woman with a lot of cats. She was in fact a Squib placed by the Order of the Phoenix to keep an eye on him.

Hestia Jones

A pink-cheeked, black haired witch who was a part of the Advance Guard that takes Harry to Grimmauld Place.

Sturgis Podmore

Square-jawed wizard with thick straw coloured hair, part of the Advance Guard. He was arrested in the Ministry in August 1995 after being caught trying to access a top-secret door and sentenced to six months in Azkaban.

Edgar Bones

Killed along with most of the rest of his family during the first war.

Caradoc Dearborn

Disappeared during the first war, his body was never found.

Benjy Fenwick

Killed in action, only small bits of him were found.

Marlene McKinnon

Killed by Death Eaters who also murdered the rest of her family.

Dorcas Meadows

Murdered by Voldemort himself, which is apparently quite a compliment.

Fabian Prewett

Brother of Molly Weasley, killed during the first war by Antonin Dolohov and four other Death Eaters.

Gideon Prewett

Brother of Fabian, killed in the same fight.

James Potter

Murdered by Voldemort on October 31st 1981 whilst trying to protect his baby son Harry. It was Harry that Voldemort was really after, but he famously and spectacularly failed to get him.

Lily Potter

Wife of James, also murdered attempting to defend her baby son.

Emmeline Vance

A stately looking witch with an emerald-green shawl who formed part of the Advance Guard. Murdered in 1996.
